Assignment – Senior ASIC Verification Engineer

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced ASIC Verification Engineer to join a complex and forward-thinking hardware development environment. In this role, you will be a key contributor in ensuring that advanced digital designs meet functional, performance, and stability requirements.

You will be part of a high-performing team, working with state-of-the-art verification methodologies and tools to validate ASIC designs from specification through to verified implementation. Your tasks will span planning, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation, with a strong focus on quality and coverage metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Define verification strategies and requirements based on functional specifications
• Develop and implement test environments and test cases for ASIC functional validation
• Analyze and measure both functional and code coverage, driving closure on gaps
• Debug RTL designs in collaboration with design engineers to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical objectives and ensure solution integrity
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification tools, flows, and methodologies
• Produce clear and structured technical documentation for internal use and future reference
• Provide mentorship and support to less experienced colleagues when needed

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC verification
• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Deep expertise in SystemVerilog and the UVM verification methodology
• Experience with Formal Verification techniques
• Familiarity with C programming, emulation, and preferably High-Level Synthesis (HLS)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
