We are looking for a Supply and Demand Planner for a global company in the construction industry. Location of this role could be in either Jönköping or Jonsered outside Gothenburg. Start ASAP, 5 months contract to begin with.

Assignment Description

The Supply/DP/IP Planner is responsible for optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with target customer service levels, levels of forecast accuracy and safety stock levels, for the allocated portfolio of SKU’s for which she/he is accountable. The Supply Planner acts as the lead interface to manufacturing sites to resolve supply issues relating to the production technology for which she/he is responsible.

Tasks

Supply Planning

• Manage and improve supply plans and orders to factories
• Provide forecast and net demand to factories
• Discuss and agree on flexibility with factories
• Place and monitor orders upon manufacturing based on agreed lead time and capacity availability
• Analyze supply plans to ensure that factories/suppliers are provided with the correct information
• Set up inventory targets for vendor supplies & pack components and monitor actual inventory levels vs. targets (in cooperation with vendor schedulers)

Demand Planning:

• Drive monthly demand process
• Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales and finance
• Interact with Sales to understand sales & delivery plans and other demand inputs (e.g., campaigns) to ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan
• Analyze forecast — proactively analyze demand plans vs. historical data and align with sales to understand/close gaps
• Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool
• Inventory Management :
• Plan replenishment across the Distribution Centre network to meet delivery targets and manage overstock and obsolete articles
• Oversee planning and parameter updates for finished goods, accessories, spare parts, and re-order points
• Ensure close collaboration with factories and manage delivery performance, claims, and goods returns
• Review out-of-stock situations, identify root causes, and recommend mitigating actions

S&OP and KPIs:

• Coordinate product phase-in/out in relation to factory and supply chain tasks
• Coordinate supply planning meetings with factories
• In case of bottlenecks, ensure fair supply / prioritization based on agreed allocation
• Direct contact with S&OP managers and sales companies connected to central/regional warehouses
• Be in close contact with factories and inform organization on supply plans / deviations
• Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence
• Consult with Production Schedulers regarding availability of production lines and approval of downtime at manufacturing sites Inventory reporting (finished goods) and parts and accessories

This role requires fluency in both English and Swedish.

This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Jönköping or Jonsered (outside Gothenburg). Start is ASAP, 5 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% on-site in either Jönköping or Jonsered.
