Who are you?
As a Solution Engineer, I interface with customers and identify their needs. In my work, I'm responsible for delivering solutions that support business requirements, using various technologies, products, and platforms. I interact with integration software architects and engineers to provide the right solutions and expertise. In my work, I balance various aspects of deliver from end to end.
Additionally, I research and advise the best Digital & IT solutions for digital transformation projects and products. My expertise is a key component of successful digital transformation processes making them efficient and effective.
What you will do
In this product team, our mission is to work on new development, onboarding, and run-time support of our portfolio of integrations supporting the machine lifecycle, from it leaving our factory, being sold through to warranty and service contracts. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge telematics technology and make an impact by helping our customers, partners, and dealers integrate and use our services to the fullest.
As part of the API & Integrations team you will contribute to the transformation of our company. You will:
* Interface with potential integration consumers (eg. dealers and dealer system providers) to present our portfolio of integrations supporting the machine lifecycle and explain use cases.
* Collaborate cross functionally to integrate our services into consumers platforms and solutions.
* Conduct integration consumer onboardings, provide training, support, and guidance on using our integration services effectively.
* Support in design, development and testing of new services to meet consumers’ needs, using different integration technologies.
* Secure data quality in our integrations by monitoring, taking action, and working across functions and teams to resolve issues.
* Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, propose fixes and improvements and follow-up results.
* Provide third line run-time support focused on machine ordering and warranty, to ensure seamless operations for our consumers.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the Volvo Group to be in line with changing business needs. You will dig deep into specific technical details for the Vehicle Lifecycle area to create the right environment for your team members to deliver value to the organization.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proactive and hands-on approach, willing to learn and deliver throughout all phases of the integration service lifecycle.
* Experience with SAP in a Volvo environment, preferably with the MOM or ODC solutions used within Volvo Construction Equipment.
* Proven experience in integration service design, business and systems analysis, including information modeling and architecture
* Proven experience in documenting requirements and testing
* Familiar with integration technologies such as REST API, SFTP, IBM MQ, and IBM API Connect, with a strong interest in learning more.
* Customer-facing experience, especially with dealers, and a service-oriented mindset.
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
Location:
We are looking for someone to preferably join us in Sweden (Primarily Eskilstuna but also Gothenburg). Also candidates in India (Bangalore) and Brazil (Curitiba) considered.
