Reporting to our Chief Architect, you will be responsible for evolving our AWS infrastructure, strengthening our DevOps culture, and directly enabling the productivity of our growing engineering team.

- Establish comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
- Partner directly with the Chief Architect on infrastructure strategy, capacity planning, and technical roadmap
- Mentor developers on DevOps best practices and foster a culture of operational excellence
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to increase team efficiency
- Define and implement security best practices across our infrastructure
- Take primary responsibility for day-to-day infrastructure operations

We're looking for someone who:
- Has 7+ years in software/infrastructure engineering, with 5+ years focused on DevOps/SRE practices
- Has extensive hands-on AWS experience (5+ years), including designing and operating production workloads at scale
- Is highly proficient with Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Go and Pulumi (Terraform knowledge is also valuable)
- Has experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines using modern tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Understands developer workflows and has proven experience improving developer experience (DevX)
- Has strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Is experienced with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes)
- Has practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases in production environments
- Can take ownership of existing systems while driving continuous improvement
High value if you also bring:
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Security mindset – experience with AWS security best practices, compliance frameworks
- Experience scaling infrastructure through rapid growth phases (startup to scale-up)
