About the Assignment

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical design of a traction motor and produce related documentation. The design work will be based on an existing concept, utilizing SolidWorks and Teamcenter as the main tools. Extensive experience in both systems is mandatory.

The role will be part of a project team, reporting to the Project Manager, and will require close collaboration with other functions such as production and sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Design and document mechanical components for traction motors based on existing designs.

• Work extensively with SolidWorks and Teamcenter.
• 
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production and sourcing.
• 
  
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate a range of complex engineering activities.
• 
  
• Perform and coordinate advanced technical studies and analyses.
• 
  
• Provide recommendations based on sound engineering practices, business considerations, and applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• More than 6 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or
• another technical degree with 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in English and Swedish.
