Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Specialist & Functional Consultant – D365 Commerce to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Support the product team in documentation and configuration activities for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce Payments Product.
- Configure retail and commerce channels, including POS, Call Center, and E-commerce.
- Define and configure payment methods, tender types, and card types per channel.
- Set up and manage payment connectors such as Adyen, PayPal, and other third-party integrations, including tokenization and PCI compliance settings.
- Configure omni-channel commerce order payments to enable unified payment editing and refunds across all channels.
- Activate feature management settings for unified payment posting journal defaults, omni-channel payments, duplicate payment protection, and refunds over multiple captures.
- Enable call center payment validations, order completion settings, refund methods, and user assignments for centralized payment management.
- Configure e-commerce payment modules, including supported tender types and primary payment module designation.
- Manage configurations for gift cards, loyalty points, customer accounts, and cross-channel payment scenarios.
- Execute and manage scheduler jobs (e.g., 1070, 1110) for payment data synchronization.
- Define and enrich backlog user stories and business requirements in collaboration with the product team.
- Participate in sprint planning, solution demonstrations, and configuration workshops.
- Write design documents for customizations and reports, ensuring coverage of boundary conditions and comprehensive test scenarios.
- Review design documents, data mapping, and integration mapping created by other team members.
- Provide guidance and support during design, build, and implementation phases, including training and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with technical consultants to ensure accurate translation of functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Support acceptance criteria achievement during testing phases.
- Stay updated with industry developments and new product features related to Dynamics 365 Retail and Commerce.
- Foster team collaboration and contribute actively to the successful delivery of product goals.
What you bring:
- Proven expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce.
- Strong knowledge in Retail and Commerce channel setup for POS, Call Center, and E-commerce.
- Hands-on experience with payment connectors, omni-channel payments, and PCI compliance.
- Experience configuring tender types, payment operations, gift cards, loyalty programs, and customer accounts.
- Solid understanding of omni-channel payment flows, including refunds, partial captures, and cross-channel scenarios.
- Practical knowledge of scheduler jobs and their role in payment data synchronization.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality functional design documents and define detailed test scenarios.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a product team environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, standard configurations with minimal customizations.
- Up-to-date awareness of Dynamics 365 Retail and Commerce product updates and industry best practices.
