About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas and Steam Turbine Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical documentation in our projects, on-site inspections and validations, and optimization of turbine systems. Your expertise will ensure the reliable and efficient operation of critical machinery in power generation or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, turbines (gas, steam, depending on specialization).
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering and systems and generator teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in compliance with industry standards and our own.
Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
Provide technical support during outages, turnarounds, or emergency situations.
Create necessary documents, technical documents, ITP’s, inspection documents etc.
Support sales department with technical documents and calculations
Qualifications
Technical diploma, degree, or relevant certification in mechanical (or related field).
Proven experience (typically 5-10 years) working with turbines in a power generation or industrial setting.
In-depth knowledge of turbine components, control systems, and mechanical/electrical interfaces.
Familiarity with OEMs such as GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi or others (specify as needed).
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experienced to read technical schematics and blueprints.
Willingness to travel and work in the field.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, Very good English is mandatory, Swedish is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
OEM certifications or factory training (e.g., GE, Siemens)
Knowledge of safety standards, and know to work with them
Experience in UT and PT testing experience and maybe certificate
