Assignment Overview

An opportunity is available for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join a cross-functional team in Västerås. The role focuses on driving supplier quality improvements, evaluating corrective actions, and collaborating closely with production, purchasing, and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers to address quality issues identified in production or from customers
• 
  
• Request and follow up on corrective actions, both short- and long-term
• 
  
• Review and assess 8D reports
• 
  
• Lead improvement initiatives with suppliers focused on quality and cost efficiency
• 
  
• Participate in production and supply chain project teams
• 
  
• Conduct supplier evaluations and drive corrective action plans (e.g., for PPM reduction)
• 
  
• Perform annual audits on selected suppliers
• 
  
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance the overall quality of purchased materials

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
• 
  
• Familiarity with Electronics and PCBA
• 
  
• Experience with process audits and ISO 9001
• 
  
• Working knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, and control plans
• 
  
• Proficient in SAP
• 
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish (spoken and written)

Work Location: Onsite in Västerås, Sweden

Language Requirements: Swedish and English (Proficient)
