Internship Overview:

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern Remote who is passionate about crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital experiences. As a design intern, you’ll work closely with developers, project managers, and other designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Key Learning Outcomes:

• Understand and apply principles of user-centered design.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct user research and usability testing.
• Work with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Collaborate effectively with developers to ensure design fidelity.
• Learn how to present and communicate design decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing intuitive user interfaces for websites and apps.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, and clickable prototypes.
• Participate in user research and analyze user feedback.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth implementation.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices.
• Maintain consistency across projects by following design systems.

Tools & Skills:

• Design Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Canva
• Prototyping: Figma, Adobe XD, InVision
• User Research: Google Forms, Maze, Interviews, UsabilityHub
• Design Principles: Typography, Color Theory, Spacing, Accessibility
• Others: Notion, Trello, Slack, GitHub (for handoff)

Requirements:

• A basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• A design portfolio (even basic work or academic projects is fine).
