Technical Consultant – Handläggare BAS-P

Assignment Description:
An experienced Handläggare BAS-P is sought to support the implementation of a large-scale carbon capture project within the energy and process industry.
The consultant will participate during the FEED phase (Front End Engineering and Design) of the project and will play a critical role in planning and coordinating all work environment (BAS-P) activities related to construction at an operational plant.
The project aims to achieve a full-scale carbon capture facility in place by the end of 2027, aligning with sustainability goals for climate neutrality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on occupational health and safety during the project design phase
- Lead risk assessments related to the construction site and the existing operating facility
- Prepare a work environment plan that aligns with ongoing operations
- Coordinate work environment issues between existing operations and new construction
- Participate in project and design meetings
- Review technical documentation with respect to work environment compliance
- Plan and define future BAS-U responsibilities during the construction phase
- Support the evaluation of proposed technical solutions and suppliers
- Contribute to assessments related to integration with existing infrastructure
- Assist with minor investigative tasks as needed
Delivery Requirements:
- Work environment plan (in both PDF and editable format) aligned with the current operating site
- Ongoing delivery of advisory support from assignment start to completion
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a BAS-P in similar construction projects
- Approved BAS-P certification
- Experience from at least one BAS-P project in the energy and/or process industry with a fixed operational site
- Availability starting 25 August 2025
- Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a collaborative contracting model (samverkansentreprenad)
Additional Information:
- The consultant is expected to work part-time, with variable engagement depending on project phase
- A team offer is possible if multiple consultants are proposed, with one designated lead consultant
- Physical presence in Helsingborg is required during parts of the assignment; some remote work and occasional travel may be necessary
- Estimated workload: 400 hours during the initial period
- Extension options include work during the construction phase (estimated 100–700 hours) and potential project continuation up to 2028
