Assignment Description:

We are seeking a Senior R&D Controller / Accountant to support financial operations during a critical transition phase following the implementation of a new financial system.

The role involves working closely with accounting and financial reporting teams to manage period closings, investigate and resolve outstanding issues, and deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis. This is a business-facing role requiring a strong analytical mindset and a solution-oriented approach to close financial gaps and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities also include preparing management reports with insights and commentary based on financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• 
  
• Perform financial analysis and reporting
• 
  
• Investigate and resolve open financial issues post-system implementation
• 
  
• Cooperate closely with accounting and financial reporting teams
• 
  
• Provide insightful commentary for management reports
• 
  
• Act as the business representative in finance-related discussions

Requirements:

• University-level education in finance or accounting
• 
  
• Proven experience in accounting, controlling, and financial reporting
• 
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• 
  
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English

Meriting:

• Experience working with IT systems such as SAP and Hyperion
