This is a 100% new business B2B sales role in Stockholm, focused on identifying and securing partnerships with merchants who have a strong international customer base.
Your mission will be to promote and sell a portfolio of core solutions (Payment Gateway, Acquiring, DCC, Tax-Free Services), working closely with internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
Your Role
- Segment and prioritize opportunities in the Retail, Hospitality, and F&B industries
- Develop commercial business cases to support strategic investments
- Create and implement a detailed Sales Development Plan
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities
- Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business sales targets
- Oversee the full sales cycle and transition clients to Account Management post-sale
- Respond to partner and client queries in a timely and professional manner
- Lead on proposals, tenders, and presentation delivery
- Ensure all CRM records are accurately maintained with relevant client and opportunity data
- Provide clear reporting and sales forecasting to management
- Contribute ideas and collaboration to the wider sales team
- Represent the company professionally and constructively at all times
Your Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B new business sales, ideally in retail, hospitality, F&B, or payment services
- Experience selling to stakeholders in Operations, IT, or Finance
- Strong understanding of the Swedish market in retail and hospitality
- Knowledge of solutions such as Card Acquiring, DCC, Tax-Free, EPOS, or e-commerce platforms is highly desirable
- Familiar with card scheme pricing and negotiation of merchant acquiring agreements
- Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and confident using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Effective communicator, with strong networking and presentation skills
- Experience working in an international matrix organization is a plus
- Native-level Swedish and fluent English
