This is the job As a Senior Business Development Director at Avenga your main focus will be nurturing, expanding and attracting key clients in Sweden, Nordics and selected strategic global accounts. With a background in IT and Sales you understand the industry and the complexity of selling comprehensive bespoke software solutions, projects and consultancy. The role will involve both nurturing current relationships and seeking out new ones with a consultative selling approach.

You’ll find yourself in an environment where you can influence the way we work and make the difference. That is why it involves a high level of collaboration with Pre-sales teams, Delivery, Engineering, Marketing and well as with the ELT member on the go-to market strategies. The role includes operational aspects such as continuous dialogue with new and existing clients regarding pre-sales, quotas, business development account planning, and coordination with delivery. But also attending different sales events and working strategically with the marketing team.

This is you You consider yourself to be a socially skilled and autonomous person who’s experienced in consultative selling in the Tech and Consultancy industry. You have a proven track-record of similar roles where you’ve been working with big clients within the IT-industry in Sweden, Nordics and/or Global markets, it’s also a big plus if you’re used to working with clients within the Retail and HiTech industry. 

With your experience in account management, you know how to handle key accounts and understand driving values through the tailored business development routines that come with it. Since we’re an international organization it’s also a plus if you’re accustomed to working in such and know how to utilize the strength and benefits that come with it.

Skills:

  • You should be comfortable applying consultative selling approach within daily business development routines
  • You’re used to working in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, since this is an international organization
  • Proven track-record from similar roles within the IT-industry, preferably within IT-consultancy
  • Handling and developing communications and partnership with different stakeholders within customer organization including C-levels
  • Proven track-record from working with international clients as well as the ones in the Nordics
  • Experienced in handling and nurturing big clients and projects
  • Knowledge and experience in Information technology systems analysis and maintenance
