Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner for our client to lead the Event Management function within the IT Process department.
This department is responsible for ITIL processes and the supporting tools, primarily ServiceNow (Service Operation, ITSM/ITOM).
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Event Management process, including:
- Process and information structure
- Work methods and frameworks
- Integration strategy
- Tool capabilities in ServiceNow
- Be responsible for the integration framework between ServiceNow/Event Management, Splunk, and other monitoring tools
- Lead a virtual team including developers, architects, and platform specialists
- Coordinate and manage activities based on the roadmap and incoming requests
- Be part of the Product Owner team for Service Operation and ServiceNow, and contribute to other ITOM-related topics
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Event Management in ServiceNow
- Several years of hands-on experience working with ServiceNow ITOM
- Solid understanding and practical experience in infrastructure and application monitoring
- Proven experience as a Product Owner
- Experience leading small teams and coordinating based on roadmap and stakeholder input
- Must have a strong focus on ITOM and ServiceNow capabilities
