What you'll be doing day to day
IKEA is taking huge steps in its digital transformation and our Retail Insights & Analytics team is at the forefront of enabling data-driven business decisions. For example, within Retail Insights & Analytics we are developing models and tools to answer questions like:
• How do we steer customers towards buying products that cover all their costs, for each sales channel?
• How do we keep track our customer visitation if our visitor counting system suffers from a defect?
• What is the impact of a new store opening on the online sales in the surrounding area?
• How to get frequent indications of market share development?
• What is the effect of running discount campaigns on our bottom line?
Perhaps you have your own questions to ask? Our ultimate goal is to create a better everyday life for the many people by creating a unique partnership with each and every customer.
Our team within IKEA
You will work in Data & Analytics in a team with other Data Analysts and Data Scientists. Together with retail domain experts, you will be addressing the challenges faced within their areas. On top of that we stimulate a curious mindset, question the status quo and bring in new ideas to bring a new perspective on our business.
