About the role
We are seeking a talented Electronics Design Engineer to join our growing R&D team at Powerbox. You will develop state-of-the-art AC/DC and DC/DC power converters, working with experienced engineers both locally and internationally across the Cosel Group.
Your responsibilities
- Design switching power supplies for industrial and demanding environments
- Develop schematics, select components, and create BOMs
- Perform simulations, prototyping, and lab testing
- Analyze and improve performance, thermal behavior, and EMC
- Support customer projects and create detailed documentation
- Work closely with mechanical and firmware engineers in cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- Deep understanding of power topologies, component selection, and safety standards
- Skilled in hardware debugging, measurement, and analysis
- F- luent in English
- EU citizenship and valid Swedish work permit required
Preferred Qualifications (a plus):
- Experience with EMC/EMI compliance
- Familiarity with mechanical constraints and thermal design
- Programming knowledge (e.g., C for embedded systems)
- Project management experience (Agile, etc.)
