Position: Solution Architect – Network Domain

About the Role

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our client’s Technical Service Area: Network team. This role is central to the ongoing transformation of the client’s global network landscape—shifting from traditional infrastructure to a modern, cloud-based, automated network architecture (Network as Code) designed to enhance availability, performance, and user experience worldwide.

As a Solution Architect, you will be part of an agile, forward-thinking team that collaborates with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and outsourced functions to deliver scalable, secure, and intelligent network solutions aligned with the company’s digitalization strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of network solutions to support new business initiatives and services
• 
  
• Develop, build, and manage network infrastructure with a focus on Network as Code and automation
• 
  
• Ensure architectural policies, security guidelines, and roadmap alignment are followed
• 
  
• Produce documentation for service design packages, service descriptions, and operational processes
• 
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business needs
• 
  
• Contribute to domain strategy, planning, and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
• 
  
• Identify opportunities for cost-efficiency and operational automation
• 
  
• Provide technical leadership and best practices in network architecture and infrastructure
• 
  
• Keep current with industry trends and proactively recommend improvements
• 
  
• Visualize complex concepts and translate them into practical, scalable solutions
• 
  
• Anticipate and address potential challenges, driving results through initiative and structured problem-solving

Skills & Qualifications

We’re looking for a proactive, adaptable team player with a strong background in global IT environments and deep technical knowledge of modern network infrastructure.

Required Experience:

• Network design & architecture – creation of both high- and low-level designs
• 
  
• Global WAN planning and lifecycle management – from enterprise or ISP background
• 
  
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, and technologies such as:
• MP-BGP, DMVPN, VPLS, Ethernet QoS, WAN Optimization
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical network designs
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with:
• Cloud networking and multi-cloud connectivity
• 
  
• Network security: VPN, firewalls, IPS, proxies, load balancers
• 
  
• IP networking, SD-WAN, and SD-LAN
• Experience with network automation & scripting: Python, Ansible, Git
• 
  
• Proficient in using and integrating APIs in network environments
• 
  
• Solid understanding of Cisco and Aruba technologies

Preferred Knowledge in One or More Areas:

• 802.1x Network Access Control
• 
  
• BGP and Internet routing
• 
  
• Cisco ISE and Cisco Enterprise Wireless
• 
  
• Aruba ClearPass and Aruba Central
• 
  
• PCI/DSS compliance
