Your Opportunity:

Are you passionate about optimizing software asset management and ensuring license compliance? Join Boliden as a SAM Specialist and play a crucial role in managing our licenses from top suppliers like Microsoft, Adobe, Broadcom, and IBM. With the support of the ServiceNow SAM tool, you will work strategically to enhance Boliden's license management across 12 business units and more than 8,000 users.

Who You Will Work With:

As a SAM Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team that collaborates closely to manage Boliden's licenses. You will work alongside colleagues who are committed to delivering top-notch IT services and optimizing our platform. Your role will involve interacting with various departments and suppliers to ensure seamless license management and compliance.

What You Will Do:

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring license compliance
  • Analyzing and optimizing license usage
  • Creating reports and insights via the SAM tool
  • Providing support and advice on licensing issues
  • Managing license portals such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Adobe
  • Participating in contract renewals and negotiations
  • Preparing decision-making materials for purchases and contracts
  • Supplier management and contract follow-up
  • Managing the purchase of licenses and software

What You Bring:

We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience in license management and Software Asset Management, preferably in larger organizations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university education in IT or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of different license models and experience in analyzing and optimizing client and server licensing
  • Insight into volume agreements from major manufacturers
  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience working in large organizations
  • Experience working with a SAM tool, such as ServiceNow or similar tools

With a systematic and proactive approach, you drive the work forward, both independently and within the team. Your methodical approach ensures maintained order and clarity, timely task completion, and thorough follow-up on outcomes.
