Your opportunity:

As a Strategic buyer, you will provide procurement services to various business stakeholders, aiming to control Boliden's cost level, enhance supplier value, and manage supply risks. You will work in the Sourcing process by evaluating, qualifying, and selecting suppliers, as well as conducting negotiations. Additionally, you will ensure that goals are met and that stakeholders are satisfied with the service delivered by Procurement. We look forward to working with you who have a good understanding of key purchasing processes and tools and want to work in a dynamic business environment. You take initiatives and have great stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence, coach, and communicate at all levels in the organization to achieve results and systematically reach set goals. To succeed in this position, we believe you have strong business acumen, including the ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions. We also see that you are willing to travel in your role.

This is a temporary position based at our office in Boliden, starting as soon as possible and ending in March 2026.

What you will do:

• Execute sourcing initiatives for annual savings.
• Manage contracts and ensure compliance.
• Develop governance for key supplier relationships.
• Handle stakeholder relations effectively.
• Contribute to category strategy.
• Drive sustainability and safety measures.
• Report procurement activities.

What you bring:  

• Relevant academic degree, or experience from strategic sourcing
• Fluent communication skills in English and Swedish verbal and written
• Driver's license for a passenger car
