The Opportunity
We are looking for an Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinator to join our team at Hitachi Energy in Sweden.
This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and high-quality onboarding experience for new joiners, including white collars, blue collars, interns, and contingent workers, from the moment they accept the offer until their first day.
Additionally, you will manage the offboarding process with the same level of care and professionalism.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and a customer-oriented approach to make a positive first impression on new joiners.

How you’ll make an impact
- Organize and coordinate and host onboarding sessions, ensuring a smooth experience for new joiners.
- Serve as the first point of contact for new joiners, sending pre-boarding information and welcome emails.
- Consult with managers about their responsibilities in the onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Organize initial meetings with managers in the office.
- Prepare and update onboarding and offboarding work instructions.
- Maintain onboarding and offboarding materials, including instructions and checklists.
- Coordinate account creation, PCs, and phones, and prepare welcome gifts.
- Track the onboarding process for contingent workers and manage the offboarding of employees, contingent workers, and interns.
Your background
- Preferably 5 years of experience in Administration, HR, or related fields, including at least 2 years in corporate settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Proficient user of Microsoft 365 tools.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
- Proactive with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Positive approach, seeing opportunities and challenges rather than problems.
- Team player.
