Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Act as a super user and first-line support for embedded system and software product descriptions in the PDM/PLM system
- Provide structured assistance to users in describing and registering embedded systems and software within the internal product management tools
- Set up and manage a centralized support function for embedded system and software-related product data issues
- Follow up on support tickets and ensure timely and complete resolution
- Collaborate with users to understand pain points and improve support processes
- Develop solutions, guidelines, and best practices for managing embedded system product data
- Support and continuously improve the ticket handling system and related documentation
- Assist users with various support topics, including system navigation, data input, and process adherence
- Participate in initiatives aimed at harmonizing and enhancing support functions across the organization
What you bring:
- Experience in embedded system and software development, particularly within the vehicle industry
- Understanding of challenges faced by developers inserting embedded items into PDM/PLM systems
- Suitable background as either an embedded developer, a technical writer with software experience, or an IT business analyst with embedded systems expertise
- Solid knowledge of embedded software and hardware development
- Familiarity with electrical systems and/or embedded vehicle systems
- Proficiency with Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
- Capability to mentor and support users effectively
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proven ability to take initiative and drive process improvements
