We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer for an assignment focused on maintaining, improving, and future-proofing a complex and business-critical ServiceNow platform. The role involves both day-to-day development and proactive initiatives aimed at performance, user experience, and long-term value.
The platform includes modules such as ITSM, HR, App Engine, CMDB, GRC, and custom applications. A key part of the role is to reduce technical debt and promote out-of-the-box solutions whenever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Ongoing development and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
Incident management to ensure high availability and fast issue resolution
Performance monitoring and introduction of new platform features
Managing small workstreams: gathering requirements, stakeholder communication, creating user stories, performing demos, and reporting progress
Required Skills & Experience:
Solid experience working in a ServiceNow maintenance organization
Ability to build robust, scalable, and future-proof solutions
Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and common pitfalls
Experience implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas: ITSM, HR, CMDB, GRC, Custom Applications
Proven ability to reduce customizations and shift towards out-of-the-box functionality
Understanding of how ServiceNow drives business value through digitalization and automation
Experience working with Performance Analytics and integrations
Agile mindset and experience with continuous improvement processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or any CIS certifications
