Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Fire Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Support product updates related to fire safety from early studies through to implementation
- Collaborate closely with feature leaders, engineers, manufacturing representatives, aftermarket teams, and other key stakeholders
- Prevent fire or thermal events and minimize their impact across multiple vehicle types, including Diesel, Battery Electric Vehicles, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles, and Complete Cabs
- Develop and execute fire safety test plans and methods
- Define and establish installation requirements to meet fire safety standards
- Coordinate external fire safety testing with institutions such as RISE or equivalent organizations
- Provide technical support on materials and installation-related questions for fire-sensitive components or systems
- Contribute to safety audits and installation reviews
- Perform competitor analysis with a focus on fire safety strategies and implementations
What you bring:
- A strong understanding of fire safety principles and practices in automotive applications

Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Diesel / LNG systems, Battery Electric Vehicles and Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Hydrogen systems including Fuel Cells or combustion engines, or heat management and hot spot identification
- Proven ability to develop and implement technical plans and safety requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across functions and disciplines
- Comfort in managing parallel activities in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in analyzing technical documentation, legal texts, and safety regulations
- A Master of Science degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel occasionally for external testing coordination
- Fluency in English; no additional language required
