Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior 3D Tooling & Simulation Visualization Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop advanced tooling for exploring network simulation results in interactive 3D environments
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of 5G/6G simulation platforms, focusing on Radio Access Network environments
- Design and implement software pipelines that integrate the latest technologies into simulation workflows
- Create and maintain software packages in Python, ensuring robust packaging, versioning, and dependency management
- Develop compelling and novel 3D visualizations for presenting results to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to enhance simulation capabilities
- Ensure a high level of software quality through testing, documentation, and continuous integration practices
What you bring:
- Strong background in software engineering with a focus on digital content creation and Python development
- Proven experience in UI/UX design and working with Universal Scene Description (USD)
- Practical knowledge of creating and maintaining Python packages, version control, and release workflows
- Passion for innovation, exploration, and continuous improvement in software functionality and efficiency
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and motivated approach
- Artistic and creative mindset, with a flair for building engaging 3D representations and user experiences
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Linux, AWS, and testing frameworks
- Familiarity with 3D technologies, APIs, data visualization, rendering, and geospatial data
- Understanding of DCC tools, game engines, and scientific visualization
- Background in wireless communications, network modelling, or performance evaluation is highly valued
- English fluency is sufficient for communication and documentation purposes
