We're now seeking a Developer Advocate who combines technical expertise with strong writing abilities to join our team.

In the role of Developer Advocate, your primary focus is to produce relevant technical content and present it in various forms. Projects are team-level collaborations, and your focus depends on project requirements and company needs. This role is closely connected to development teams and support teams and requires insights into message queuing concepts and brokers, AMQP protocol, message streaming, and related technologies such as Crystal programming language, RabbitMQ, Erlang, LavinMQ, Ruby etc. A lot of focus will lie on your technical and writing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate and support the marketing team with technical insights.

If you have experience with message queuing systems, enjoy explaining complex technical concepts clearly, and have a background in development or personal coding projects, this role is for you!

Primary responsibilities

• …produce written content with a high technical depth.
• …are the communication link between developer teams and marketing by keeping up with product news and being responsible for sharing it internally.
• …attend meetings relevant to the team/role.
• …plan and report back on your projects at weekly meetings.
• …you plan for and follow up on blog ideas in accordance to product state.
• …present content in various ways such as; Livestream expert/host, video content creator, speaker online/on site, coding projects etc.
• …perform benchmarking and testing in collaboration with other teams.
• …organize and plan hackathons.
• …support the rest of the team with knowledge when needed.
• …validate technical content written by others.
