In this assignment you will take a key role as a Software Architect within an automotive embedded environment, responsible for defining and evolving software architecture that meets performance, safety and compliance expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure robust integration strategies, scalable frameworks and clear architectural direction across development efforts.

• Define and design software architectures aligned with system requirements and project objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into overall system architectures
• Develop and document software design patterns, frameworks and best practices
• Drive scalability, reliability and maintainability through robust architectural principles
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies across software development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE
• Support system integration and validation activities to ensure alignment with the defined architecture
• Contribute to strategic decisions regarding technology and tool adoption
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams and interface definitions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and refine architectural requirements and constraints
• Evaluate third-party tools, frameworks and libraries for architectural compatibility
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in architectural principles and implementation

• Experience designing software architecture in automotive embedded environments
• Ability to define software architectures aligned with system requirements and integration needs
• Experience producing and maintaining software architecture documentation (e.g., diagrams and interface definitions)
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE and how to ensure compliance in architecture work
• Ability to lead or facilitate architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
