The role Your team is a new cross-functional team working on a new product. The team brings together firmware engineers with application developers building high-level functionality in collaboration with frontend developers and UX designers. You play an important role in the product development by writing well designed, efficient, scalable, readable and testable code in Go. You take an early part in feature investigations and pre-studies, including collaborating on prototype code and evaluating using real world testing. Together with your team, you will be involved in setting the coding standards and ways of working for your team. Who are we looking for/Who are you? While the role focuses on Go/Golang, we believe strong embedded C++ experience (especially object-oriented) provides a good foundation to build your Go expertise. We'd love to hear that you have: * A master's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience * Solid work experience from Go/Golang or C++ programming in an embedded Linux environment of which around 2 years within product development * Knowledge of other programming languages such as C, C++ or Rust * Experience of multi-threaded programming is a plus What Axis can do for you At Axis Stockholm we are a newer R&D site with 45+ engineers so far.
