As an Azure Virtual Desktop Specialist, you will design, manage, and continuously improve a virtual desktop environment based on Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Remote Desktop Services (RDS). You’ll work close to infrastructure and security stakeholders to ensure stable operations, strong security posture, and a great end-user experience—while expanding the current VDI solution to new use cases.

• Design, configure, and manage VDI environments using Microsoft AVD and RDS
• Implement and maintain security policies for virtual desktops
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AVD and RDS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VDI with broader IT infrastructure
• Monitor VDI performance and implement improvements
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders
• Stay up to date on AVD/RDS developments and best practices

• Education in Computer Engineering (or a related field)
• Proven experience designing, configuring, and managing Microsoft AVD and RDS environments
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V)
• Experience with network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
• Ability to develop the current VDI solution to support new use cases
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Agile planning

• Experience in workplace management (e.g., Windows device management, Mac management, MDM)
• Familiarity with Intune and/or Jamf
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty)
