Arbetsbeskrivning

SKF has been around for more than a century and today we are one of the world’s largest global suppliers of bearings and supporting solutions for rotating equipment. Our products can be found everywhere in society, making us an essential part of everyday life for people and companies worldwide.

In September of 2024, SKF announced the separation of its Automotive business, to build two world-leading businesses. The role you are applying for will be part of the automotive business. This means you will have the opportunity to be a part of shaping a new company aimed at meeting the needs of the transforming global automotive market.

Treasury Operations Specialist - Automotive Business

Shape the future Treasury operations for a new global automotive company

Are you motivated by building something new? Do you want to contribute and shape the Treasury function of a standalone, global automotive company at a pivotal moment in its journey? Then you could be our next Treasury Operations Specialist within SKF Automotive.

SKF has initiated the separation of its Automotive business to form an independent, leading global company. This creates a rare opportunity: to build efficient, resilient, and digitalized Treasury operations from the ground up, shaping how our operating model will function for years to come.

In this role, you will ensure smooth daily Treasury operations while contributing to improved Net Working Capital management and FX risk handling. You will be part of a lean, expert team dedicated to harmonization, simplification, and automation of global finance processes.

What you can expect in the role

Treasury Operations Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash positioning, liquidity monitoring, and short-term forecasting.
  • Execute payment runs, manage bank accounts, and ensure operational banking continuity.
  • Maintain and update Treasury Management System data, facilitate seamless payment connectivity, and bank integrations.

Net Working Capital Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical insight into NWC performance by assessing core drivers and identifying structural improvement opportunities.
  • Strengthen forecasting and planning by elevating cash flow visibility, enhancing accuracy, and enabling more informed decision making.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable processes that support stronger liquidity discipline and shorten the cash conversion cycle across the value chain.

FX Management Responsibilities:

  • Support identification and analysis of currency exposures across business units, ensuring transparent and reliable exposure reporting.
  • Assist with execution of FX hedge transactions, helping to balance risk mitigation with commercial and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate exposure updates, enabling effective FX risk management and informed decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Finance Operations Centers, Controllers, IT, and process owners across regions.
  • Act as a thematic expert in operational Treasury matters for internal stakeholders.

You will enjoy working here if you have

  • Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in Treasury operations, cash management, or similar roles.
  • Solid understanding of banking infrastructures, connectivity, and payment processes.
  • Experience working with Treasury Management Systems.
  • Skilled in data analysis with the ability to interpret, structure, and draw insights from complex datasets to support decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Net Working Capital analysis or improvement programs.
  • Experience in FX exposure identification, reporting, or hedging activities.
  • Excelling in the use of digital tools and analytical platforms; programming knowledge is considered a strong advantage.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to shape and actively influence a new global company’s Treasury function.
  • Ability to impact processes, systems, and ways of working from the ground up.
  • International environment and a collaborative, expert team.
