We are currently looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in Test Automation to join one of our key clients in the automotive industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring high quality, stability, and performance of advanced software solutions for next-generation vehicles.   You will work in a cross-functional, agile environment focused on developing and validating connected car and infotainment systems.   ABOUT THE ROLE    Be an active member of an agile scrum team Develop automated test cases using existing frameworks in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment Monitor and supervise daily execution of test suites Participate in agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and team health checks Perform frequent software updates on test rigs Conduct manual testing in rigs and test vehicles Report progress and status in JIRA QUALIFICATIONS   Master’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar Proven experience in automated test development and test frameworks Strong Linux skills and experience with bash, git, Gerrit, and Jenkins Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) Valid Swedish driver’s license (B) – required for in-car testing   MERITORIOUS SKILLS   C++ and Python  Experience in embedded software development Robot Framework Agile software development experience Knowledge of Android frameworks and test suites
