Your role
Saab Kockums is looking for a Campaign Director to lead mega deal businesses for its Business Unit Submarine. The role requires strategic coordination across commercial, political, military and diplomatic channels. This role sits at the intersection of global sales, government engagement, national policy interests, and complex stakeholder management. You will drive the full pursuit for a multi-billion, multi-year national program, ensuring alignment with both the governments and political, military and institutional stakeholders. You will report to Head of Business Development & Sales at Saab Kockums.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a campaign for a mega deal opportunity - from Capture Plan strategies, submission of RFI/RFP responses, customer down selection, final negotiations and closing of the deal.
* Establish strong relationships at all levels in the customer country with the Navy, procurement agency, high political arena and Industrial networks.
* Establish and manage strong working relationships with the Swedish Govt, MoD, Swedish Navy, FMV, Industrial Partners.
* Understand, communicate and influence customer requirements to shape Saab Kockums offering.
* Undertake product & company presentations in support of campaign marketing activities.
* Manage all events and activities taking place in the campaign country.
* Provide executive-level reporting and briefings, synthesizing complex political and commercial dynamics for executive leadership.
* Establish, manage and control an effective network of advisors to assist the campaign.
* Navigate political landscapes in both the purchasing country and Sweden to secure bilateral support, endorsements, and alignment with national interests.
* Coordinate commercial, policy, and diplomatic messaging to ensure coherence between corporate priorities and governmental objectives.
* Develop an agreed capture plan including the winning strategies.
* Establish, lead and manage the activities of the Integrated Campaign Team, including Saab office in country, commercial, government affairs, legal, finance, industrial partners (offset), media/communications, technical team.
* Communicate the customer's requirements to Saab Kockums organization and ensure an outstanding positioning of Saab's offer, so when the RFP is issued, Saab and Sweden are the preferred choice for the key decision makers.
* Jointly lead negotiations in cooperation with Commercial and Legal department.
Your profile
* This role requires an adaptable and self-motivated professional approach to Business Development and Communications with domestic and international experience.
* A thorough understanding of how to establish and perform a mega deal Campaign.
* Ability to manage complex sales processes, including political, military, industrial, commercial, financial and contractual areas of the business are essential.
* Capability to manage several parallel objectives simultaneously.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from naval officers up to senior politicians.
* Ability to arrange visits and meetings from Government and Saab higher management.
* Able to build and lead fully integrated multi-functional and multi-disciplined teams often with various cultural backgrounds.
* Able to work on own initiative often under pressure.
Required skills
* Proven experience in leading complex campaigns, including the interfacing with senior government and military personnel.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term trust and relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
* International business experiences and cross-cultural experience in the business development and sales environment.
* Communicate professionally both verbally as well as in writing at least in the Swedish and English language.
* Extensive bid proposal management and leadership of bid responses.
* In-depth understanding of contract obligations with some experience of contract negotiations.
* High level of IT literacy in all MS Office applications including professional presentation skills.

* The office location will be one of Saab Kockums premises in Lund, Karlskrona, Linköping or Stockholm.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
