About the job

As our SAP Analytics Engineer, you’re responsible for designing and delivering certified reports, dashboards, and semantic models that enable data‑driven decision‑making throughout the organization. You translate business needs into high‑quality analytical solutions and ensure they perform well, scale efficiently, and deliver real value.

What you’ll do

• Convert business requirements into semantic data models, dashboards, and reports.
• Design and develop analytical solutions using our data lakehouse and business intelligence technologies, including self‑service analytics.
• Apply modeling, UX, and design standards to ensure reusability and an excellent user experience.
• Optimize analytical solutions for performance, cost‑efficiency, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to clarify needs and drive adoption.
• Support peer reviews, documentation, deployment, monitoring, and third‑level support of analytical products.

Location and flexibility

The position is based in Stockholm or Sandviken and offers a hybrid working model, combining office and remote work.

Your profile

You have several years of hands-on experience in analytics engineering or a similar role, and are comfortable in agile, product-oriented team environments. A strong background in business intelligence technologies, such as SAP Analytics Cloud, is essential, along with solid experience in semantic model design, visualization development, publication, administration, and maintenance. You have experience working with lakehouse platforms, particularly SAP Datasphere, while exposure to Databricks or Power BI is a plus. A good understanding of security models, including row-level security, is expected.

You’re analytical, structured, and curious, with a strong ability to translate complex requirements into clear and usable solutions. You communicate confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively to create impact. You take ownership of your work, care about quality and user experience, and continuously look for ways to improve how analytics is delivered and used across the organization.
