About The Role
As a Chief Financial Officer, you will play a critical role in financial strategy and supporting our continued growth as we evolve from a single-product SaaS company into a multi-product, globally scaling business serving enterprise-level organizations with mission-critical internal communications solutions.
You will be a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and the leadership team, helping translate ambition into financial clarity, discipline, and decision-making.
This role combines hands-on financial leadership with long-term strategic thinking, strong governance, and close collaboration across commercial, product, technology, and operations teams.
Hive has reached profitability and is now focused on sustainable, scalable growth.
As CFO, you will help ensure we invest wisely, operate predictably, and continue to build a finance function that enables innovation rather than constrains it.
Working As a CFO, You Will
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial, commercial, and operational decisions
- Own Hive’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Drive financial clarity through robust KPIs, analysis, and scenario planning
- Balance growth initiatives with financial discipline, cash flow management, and risk mitigation
- Strengthen governance, compliance, and board reporting, partnering closely with the Board of Directors
- Lead and develop the finance function, including Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations, through a period of transition and scale
- Partner with Commercial, Product, Technology, and Service Operations to support pricing, investment prioritization, and scalability
- Build trust across the organization by making finance accessible, transparent, and decision-oriented
- Champion modern finance practices, exploring emerging tools and approaches that enhance the function's impact
