Nordic Air Defence is a Swedish defence-tech company pioneering cost-effective, solutions for modern aerial security. Our first products are based on the Kreuger, battery powered, drone interceptor platform. The Role

We are looking for an experienced system engineer with strong electrical and aerospace background. You will act as the technical focal point for complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will work closely with the project and product manager as well as other internal and external stake holders.

• Independently define entire products and complex sub-assemblies (primarily electronics designs)
• Develop and write specifications, system design descriptions and test and validation plans
• Use strong technical background to develop efficient and sometimes novel solutions
• Work with customers and partners on design of complex systems-of-systems
• Mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• College degree in electrical and/or computer engineering – advanced degree (MSc) strongly preferred
• Minimum five years’ experience from aerospace – preferably for defence applications
• Documented experience from a system engineering role
• Fluency in English (the spoken language in our office)
• Documented electrical design experience
• Experience from UAS design
• Experience from UAS testing
• Can obtain permit to live and work in Sweden

Desired Qualifications

• Fully proficient Ukrainian speaker
• Proficiency in other European language (ex. Swedish, French, German, Spanish)
• Experience working in a startup
• Experience from explosives integration
