As the Engagement Technical Lead for THE FINALS, you will lead the technical execution of engagement features that keep players immersed in, connected to, and returning to the game.
This role bridges people leadership with game design, live-ops, backend systems, and engineering.
You will mentor and guide engineers, collaborate closely with design and product, and make architectural decisions regarding the engagement systems.
In your day to day you work as an amplifier for cross team communication & collaboration.
Example of responsibilities
Leadership & Collaboration
Technical Leadership of a cross-functional engagement engineering team
Act as the main technical point of contact for engagement initiatives across disciplines.
Managerial responsibilities (not limited to) hiring & onboarding of new employees and long-term career development.
Serve the know-how & share best practices: coaching people to make the right decisions across dependencies and to raise concerns and needs.
Collaborate with design, art, data analytics and live-ops to define, scope, and deliver engagement-focused features.
Planning and working for sustainability / scalability of team and throughput, including headcount planning and scoping.
Architecture & Development
Design and evolve robust, scalable systems supporting engagement components (e.g., player progression, reward loops, social features).
Ensure high performance and reliability.
Foster best practices in code quality, automated testing, performance profiling, and release reliability.
What You'll Work on
Player engagement systems (progression trackers, rewards, seasonal features).
Social & competitive hooks: leaderboards, team stats, clans/guilds support, rewards integration.
