Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the Manufacturing solution portfolio
- Lead transformation and development of capabilities, value streams, information entities, and applications
- Define and drive digital strategies to improve manufacturing processes
- Guide and mentor solution and software engineers on development principles and best practices
- Collaborate with fellow architects on portfolio pre-studies, requirement analysis, and solution architecture
- Engage with stakeholders across the full solution stack, from presentation layer to infrastructure
- Work with a heterogeneous IT landscape including COTS, SaaS solutions, and ERP systems such as JD Edwards
- Support and contribute to the digital agenda through close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
- Be present at the factory on a regular basis to ensure alignment between solutions and operational needs
What you bring:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a closely related role
- Strong experience within manufacturing, supply chain, production master data, and/or warehousing
- Solid understanding of modern IT architectures, including COTS and SaaS solutions
- Ability to mentor and guide engineers on development principles and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business insights
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams and functions
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and take full ownership of deliveries
- Flexibility and willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing environment
- Team-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative setting
