What you’ll do

In this Senior AI Engineer & Researcher role, you will own the full lifecycle from research and prototyping to production-grade implementation. You will design and deliver high-quality, production-ready back-end services and APIs that power our AI and computer vision platforms and ensure they scale reliably in cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with system architect, AI/CV engineers, and software developers on model integration, database design, and system architecture decisions, turning PoCs into robust, maintainable solutions used in industrial settings.​

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing and delivering high-quality, production-ready code (primarily back-end).
• Designing and developing robust APIs for scalable applications.
• Designing and implementing efficient database structures (SQL/NoSQL).
• Reviewing and approving pull requests to maintain code quality and standards.
• Building PoC prototypes and transitioning them into production-ready solutions.
• Driving and contributing to AI research and development initiatives.
• Participating in system design and architecture decisions.
• Applying and promoting modern software development patterns.
• When required, leading the team by managing tasks and ensuring timely delivery.

Role requirements

We are looking for a senior profile who is comfortable switching between deep technical research and hands-on engineering. You combine strong AI/ML understanding with solid back end and cloud engineering skills, and you enjoy mentoring others and providing technical direction.​

Essential requirements:

• AI research background in model architecture creation for surface/surface-based representations or similar domains.
• AI research background in reducing network data usage (e.g., model compression, efficient encoding, streaming, or edge/cloud trade-offs).
• Strong proficiency in back-end development (e.g. Python, Node.js, or similar).
• Knowledge and experience with cloud development tools and platforms.
• Experience with API design and database architecture (SQL/NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of AI/ML frameworks and deployment strategies.
• Proven experience in team lead or technical leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
