Scope of role

The 3DEXPERIENCE Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This role involves gathering requirements, mapping processes, and supporting PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) initiatives, including greenfield implementations and system migrations.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Identify and analyze user requirements across domains (engineering, manufacturing, quality).
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Process Mapping & Optimization

• Map existing processes from PLM or non-PLM systems to 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., APQP, modularization principles).

System Implementation Support

• Collaborate with IT teams for functional implementation and integration.
• Validate new functionalities and assist in user acceptance testing.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Generate status reports on progress, milestones, and deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as liaison between business users and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for end-users.

Cloud & Integration

• Support cloud migration/adoption (Azure preferred).
• Ensure seamless integration with CAD/vPDM and other enterprise systems.

Knowledge/Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years in PLM, with at least 5+ years in 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in Automotive
• Hands-on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform and PLM systems.
• Good understanding of Catia V5 & V6
• Expertise in business analysis, requirement specification, and process mapping.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in hybrid environments and manage global implementations.
