About the Role: We are seeking an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to join our team, contributing to high-power electronics projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cadence design tools and a strong understanding of electronics, manufacturability, and test board design. This role combines hands-on PCB layout work with project coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify and enhance existing PCB designs, ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability.
• Perform approximately 80% hands-on PCB design and 20% project coordination and meetings.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Demonstrate independent problem-solving and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Prioritize efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of design solutions.
• Participate in an initial onsite engagement in Kalmar (1 week), followed by remote work with potential for long-term involvement.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience using Cadence PCB design tools.
• Proven expertise in high-power electronics and PCB layout for simulation.
• Strong knowledge of stack-up materials, manufacturability, and test board design.
• Experience working in corporate environments.
• Excellent English communication skills; Swedish language skills are a plus.
• Prior experience with major telecom or electronics companies is advantageous
