The opportunity
In the role as a tendering specialist, you will be part of our Grid Automation Europe tendering team within the Hitachi Energy Group. The tendering organisation is truly international and located in various locations across Europe and supported by our dedicated team in India. We operate in a dynamic and growing market and are now seeking to strengthen the team with an experienced tendering professional in Västerås, Sweden.
In this role you are responsible for leading tenders from the initial request for quotation to contract closing and handover to our operations team. The activities include creating and completing bids/estimations/quotations based on our customer’s technical specifications and other requirements. You will ensure that in delivering high quality tenders we achieve both market competitiveness and profitable business.
Your field of operation will be in the substation market, and you will have the opportunity to handle a variety of tenders in our customer markets. The focus will be on either loose product sales, project business or our fast-growing service business and will depend on your interest and experience.
