Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and enhance web-based applications as part of a cross-functional team including developers, product owners, designers, and QA
• Focus primarily on backend development while contributing to creating modern, user-friendly, and high-performing products
• Work with distributed systems and large-scale data solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Contribute to system design and architecture while writing efficient, robust, and maintainable code
• Collaborate closely with team members to deliver end-to-end product functionality

What you bring:

• Deep expertise in Scala, with strong knowledge of Python and TypeScript
• Experience working with complex distributed systems and handling large data volumes
• Strong background with databases and messaging systems such as MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with DevOps environments, Linux/Unix systems, CLI tools, REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is a plus
• Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional teams with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to take initiative in problem-solving
• Fluency in English, with Swedish being an advantage
