The TeamThe Product Development team picks up where the Sales team leaves off, collaborating closely with clients to transform innovative ideas into tangible products ready for production. Our mission is to ensure that we meet client expectations in the proof of concept and prototype production phase. With nearly 40 team members, including Product Managers, CAD Engineers, and Process Design Engineers, our team closely collaborates and exchanges expertise.
The roleAs a Product Manager, your main responsibility is to develop customized products from the ground up in collaboration with our customers and Silex’s Process Engineers. You will guide customers through the product setup phase and early production, making sure their vision is realized while establishing the processes needed for future volume manufacturing. This journey can span from a few months to several years, typically moving through a concept phase followed by prototyping.
In this role, you will combine project management skills with technical know-how to navigate the product development process. Once prototype processing begins, you will typically spend some time in our cleanroom, supporting the process team with inspection and wafer analysis. You will also handle customer communication and, over time, take on greater commercial responsibility as you grow in the role. How you take part in a customer program when you enter the position will depend on what experiences you bring and your seniority level.
You will report to one of our Group Managers within Product Development and work closely with colleagues across Silex, including senior Product Managers who will take part in introducing you to the role.

Our recruitment process is designed to ensure a fair and objective assessment.
