The Opportunity
As a Hardware Design Engineer within HVDC Service, you will play a key role in the upgrades of our HVDC installations.
Your work will include designing control cabinets containing computers and circuit boards for measurement, control, and calculations.
This is a broad role that also includes:
- Site visits and technical support to the workshop (FST)
- Development of overview drawings
- Process development and continuous improvement
- Coordination with other departments and project teams
How you will make an impact
- Design hardware solutions for our control and protection systems
- Create layouts and circuit diagrams, including cable and component calculations
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure high-quality deliveries
- Develop work methods together with engineering colleagues across disciplines
- Participate in international upgrade projects – see your technology make a global impact
- Plan and organize your work in close collaboration with the project team
Your Background
- At least 6 years working experience in a similar field.
- Experience with CAD tools.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
- Communicative, outgoing, and curious
- Proficient in Swedish and English
- Experience in the electrical industry (e.g., electrician) is an advantage
