We’re now looking for an Android Developer to our Tech Team in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your mission As our Android Developer, you will take full ownership of our Android app – from building new features and improving UX, to making sure our members get a smooth, smart, and delightful experience every time they open Bruce. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers, and be part of the full development lifecycle.

What youll do

• Take charge of code review, testing, and continuous integration for our Android app
• Work cross-functionally to improve the overall user experience on our Android platform
• A/B-test new features to measure their results and impact
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Android ecosystem (developer tools, new Android APIs, market trends)
• Multi-task, organize, and prioritize work with the team
• Participate in roadmap planning, code reviews, problem-solving, and testing sessions
• Own and be involved in the development lifecycle from start to finish
• Perform other activities that broadly fall within the scope of the role

What we want you to bring

• Strong experience in Android development using Kotlin, Java, View-based layouts and the Android SDK
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack libraries, MVP architecture, and building production-ready apps
• Experience building and maintaining apps in production for several years
• Good communication skills in English or a Scandinavian language
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to work independently
• A love for smart, clean code – and ideally some interest in fitness or wellness
• Bonus: experience working with AI-driven features, and/or technologies like Retrofit, Realm, and RxJava
