Are you ready to LEVEL-UP THE GAME?
As an Architect at FDJ you will, together with the other architects, have an overall architecture responsibility for our Player Account Management platform (PAM).
You will report to the head of architecture.
You will, together with the head of architecture, and the team, contribute to the architectural vision and governance of the platform, guiding it towards a future-ready state.
You will also collaborate with other functions to lead the design, development, and management of a secure, scalable, and innovative platform that enhances the player experience throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
At the same time, you will have a close cooperation to the development teams and their code.
In this role, you will engage, collaborate, and partner with various stakeholders and technical leaders to understand both long-term and short-term strategies.
You will participate in driving the strategic vision of the platform, ensuring it evolves to meet the business's changing needs while upholding the highest standards of security, compliance, and user satisfaction.
Key accountabilities of this role are:
- Oversee the architecture of the PAM
- Provide input for the technical strategy, roadmap and priorities for the platform in collaboration with the other architect and other important stakeholders
- Balance centralized governance with localized creativity, fostering both stability and innovation within the PAM platform
- Advocate for and drive the adoption of best practices to ensure consistent solution architecture
- across the PAM organization.
- Assist stakeholders in understanding the technical implications and consequences of strategic decisions
- Lead initiatives to ensure the platform's scalability and performance align with defined strategies and processes
- Ensure compliance with HR and security requirements, including data security, fraud prevention, and industry-relevant regulations
- Map business requirements to technical requirements and constraints, and conduct GAP analysis
- Advising and guiding in technology choices and their application
- Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
- Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
- Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
- Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.
We're looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Passionate about new technologies and keeps up to date on new trends and possibilities
- You are, or at least have been, an experienced java programmer and have worked heavily with micro services architecture
- Used to taking responsibility and setting the architectural roadmap
- Is focused on the big picture and empowers others to make detailed decisions
- Have years of demonstrable experience of solution architecture
- Have years of experience of taking responsibility and setting the architectural roadmap
- Enjoys sharing knowledge and best practices
- Always considers the longevity of the platform
- Ability to gain the holistic view, be a good listener and to be able to reach consensus with a larger group
