We are now looking for a Logistics Engineer to join our team for an exciting assignment with one of our clients in Vara. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Logistics Engineer, you will collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers, project managers, and the production team to understand their needs and translate them into innovative layouts and efficient material flows. You will support production with practical and sustainable solutions while also working independently, taking ownership of your projects and initiatives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and refine logistics strategies to reduce costs while improving service levels
Introduce new technologies and best practices to enhance logistics performance
Evaluate and simulate material flows to identify improvements and optimize factory layouts
Ensure smooth product introductions from a logistics perspective
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics setup
Carry out engineering tasks such as frequency studies and developing standard operating procedures
Participate in strategic discussions shaping the future of logistics within the organization

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE...
A university degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics and material flow management
A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and responsibility
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and departments
Experience with LayCAD and flow simulations in FACTS
Fluency in both English and Swedish
