About the role We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist for a fixed-term position covering parental leave. Join our team and take the lead in crafting impactful, data-driven email campaigns.
You’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing strategies that drive lead generation, engagement, and conversions.
The ideal candidate is an expert in email marketing best practices, segmentation, and automation, with a technical understanding of HubSpot’s marketing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and execute email marketing campaigns, including monthly newsletters, promotional campaigns, product announcements, event emails and lead nurturing sequences.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated email workflows for inbound leads nurturing, onboarding, retention, and re-engagement strategies.
- Create and manage segmented email lists to deliver highly targeted and personalised content, improving email engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyse email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) and provide insights and recommendations to optimise future campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure email leads are properly nurtured through the sales funnel and inbound workflow.
- With the support of external partners, ensure data capture via enrichment tools, data compliance via GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and email validation tools, and data governance via retention policies
- Work with the content and design teams to ensure emails are visually appealing and aligned with brand messaging.
- Stay up to date on the latest email marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities to improve performance.
If you have experience with Clearout, Inscycle, Zapier, or Breeze Intelligence is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- +3 years proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist, preferably with HubSpot.
- In-depth knowledge of HubSpot’s email marketing, CRM, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of email regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and best practices.
- Experience with list segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing.
- Proficiency in A/B testing and email performance analytics.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English, other languages are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates (preferred).
