Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Test Engineer for our client to join System & Application Test team. This role is a backfill position, where you will contribute to raising the quality of our next-generation development products by testing the complete system — including software, electronics, and robot manipulators running diverse applications.

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, driving improvements, and ensuring safe and efficient lab operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Test complete systems (software, electronics, and robot manipulators) across various applications.
• 
  
• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test specifications (both manual & automated).
• 
  
• Program and set up robot cells using RAPID.
• 
  
• Work with C# to design and run automated and manual tests.
• 
  
• Write clear and structured test documentation.
• 
  
• Improve and maintain lab environments (safety, 6S, automation, cell installations).
• 
  
• Actively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• 
  
• Contribute to process improvements within projects.

Requirements

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in English (written & spoken).
• 
  
• Experience in C# and/or RAPID programming.
• 
  
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and git-based collaborative workflows.
• 
  
• Experience working in a SAFe team with Azure DevOps.
• 
  
• Solid understanding of quality assurance, automation equipment, and testing methodologies.

Nice-to-have skills

• Proficiency in Swedish (highly preferred).
• 
  
• Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
• 
  
• Previous experience with industrial robots, RobotStudio, or PLC systems.
• 
  
• Enthusiasm for applying robotic solutions in new and emerging fields.
