We are now growing our team at TreeToTextile with Process Operators. If you like working in an industrial environment with problem solving and development – then this is the role for you!

As Process Operator you are part of the team responsible for developing how we can produce textile fibers in a safe, sustainable and efficient way. The goal is to verify, refine and optimize the process in an industrial environment at our Demo plant in Nymölla. Your daily work will be varied, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for:

• Building knowledge about how production should be controlled and monitored.
• Helping to develop how to start and stop different parts as safely and efficiently as possible.
• Performing troubleshooting in the event of operational disruptions.
• Providing fiber production with raw materials and handling the final product.
• Taking samples and performing analyses both during the process and of the finished product.
• Performing cleaning in the process and contributing to improving the process around this.
• Performing preventive maintenance and remedial maintenance during maintenance stops.

To be successful in this position, you need to have experience as operator within the continuous process industry or similar role within process control.

You need to be a person who takes your own initiative, has an easy time collaborating, likes problem solving, has the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and a drive towards predetermined goals. We also see that you have an interest in development, learning and sustainability. Also, intercultural awareness and proven ability to work effectively across cultures is required.

The job mainly involves work in intermittent 3-shifts but will be able to transition to continuous operation. Therefore, it is a prerequisite that you, as an applicant, can work inconvenient working hours.

Swedish-based TreeToTextile drives systemic change in the textile industry by providing the next generation of cellulose fiber for a sustainable planet. Together with our committed owners H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso, Lenzing Group and LSCS Invest, TreeToTextile is developing a renewable and resource-efficient cellulose fiber with attractive properties and low environmental impact, accessible to everyone. The fiber has the potential to complement or replace parts of the cotton, viscose and polyester markets.

In 2023, the TreeToTextile Demo factory in Nymölla started operation and in June 2024 the first bale of unoptimized fiber was produced. To make the fiber available on a global market, the next step will be to build a flagship factory somewhere in Europe, followed by several super sites globally in the coming years.
