To accelerate towards our goal of becoming the pioneering force powering the energy system of tomorrow, we are now looking for a passionate and skilled Electrical Engineer.

About The Role: The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, EPC, team is part of Asset Development, which leads the development and delivery of our battery energy storage systems (BESS). Once permits are secured, EPC manages the full project execution — from detailed engineering and design to procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover to commercial operations.

As an Electrical Engineer within the EPC team, you will be responsible for performing sizing calculations, creating technical specifications, and developing design documents and drawings. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality engineering standards across all stages of the project. Additionally, you are expected to stay informed about industry trends and best practices within the energy storage sector.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform power system studies using ETAP/DIgSILENT software for basic and detailed engineering phases and optimize electrical designs. This includes:
• cable sizing, voltage drop calculation, short circuit calculations, switch gear design, lighting design, lighting calculations, earthing/grounding calculations.
• cable routing layouts
• Determine the asset’s interconnection to existing LV, MV, HV electrical facilities.
• Review and evaluate contractor’s and plant/equipment’s bids, submittals, and RFIs
• Attend technical meetings with the project team as needed.
• Provide support during construction and commissioning and ensure designs are executed accurately on site in Sweden or other European countries.
• Attend FATs as needed. This might include travel to China and other European countries.
• Support the Asset Development team to secure the Grid Connection Agreement with DSO/TSO and comply with the relevant Grid Code and requirement

Who You Are:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications & experience.
• 3+ years of practical experience in Electrical Engineering or similar within the energy industry
• Proficient in ETAP or similar software and general electrical system studies, calculations, plant layouts related to power, lighting, grounding, and substations.
• Proficient with electrical design and review in accordance with the applicable European and International codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical thinking & communication skills, able to communicate actively across position and able to work under pressure
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Location Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
